Anthony Ravielli was contacted by Ben Hogan and asked to illustrate the
world famous instructional golf book The Five Lessons. He shot ten rolls
of black and white film as well as 13 color shots. He then used these

Tony Roberts is recognized throughout the world of
golf as one of its master photographers. His first published photograph
appeared in Golf Digest magazine in 1971; it was of the famed Ballybunion
links on the southwest coast of Ireland. Since then, he has covered more
than 145 golf tournaments worldwide, including 40 major championships. He
has also covered the British Open almost every year since 1975. His most
famous photograph is of the famed 16th hole at Cypress Point, on the
Monterey Peninsula, taken while perched on a tree limb for three hours
